Grand Théâtre

ph. Sabrina

Yes We Can!

The blog aims to depict a realistic & relatable portrayal of her life including themes such as personal style, travel, food, music & events. Content usually consists of original photographs, written work and occasional original videos.

DW__What is fashion for you?
Essentially, fashion is fun. It should be fun - the combination of fun and confidence can be unstoppable.

DW__Where do you get your ideas from and How do you define your style?
I get my ideas from vintage styles and of course fellow bloggers. Although I do have an odd sense of style - it's always a little different. At the moment I really like draped, floaty styles like bohemian and 70s designs.

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for women's fashion?
I personally really enjoy 70s fashion.

DW__What do you think about the influence of fashion bloggers in the fashion world?
I think it's excellent as we get to see real girls and guys with real stories with their own personal style and watch how they interpret current trends - making it more accessible to the public (obviously with the help of social media such as Instagram - love it!)

DW__Do you believe that one day they will be replaced by a fashion magazine, or do you think it's just a fleeting? What is the future of fashion bloggers?
Definitely can't answer this one - who knows?!

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
In life? Nature. In fashion? Street wear.

DW__Who would qualify to be an icon?
I like the Olsen twins.

DW__If you had to choose only one pair of shoes what would it be?
Black boots with a slight chunky heel.

DW__3 Indispensable items?
iPhone, Camera, Passport.

DW__3 favorite places in your city?
Gelato Messina, Bar Indigo, the hidden beaches.

DW__Websites? blogs? other links?
I'm obsessed with youtube (particularly the UK youtubers & Casey Neistat), international bloggers such as The Blonde Salad & Style Scrapbook plus lots of my fellow australian bloggers.

DW__One last/final word?
Follow your instincts.
