Christine. I live in the Netherlands.
I started blogging quite a few years ago, but it took me a while to figure out what kind of blog suited me best. I started Fash n Chips 2 years ago and although at first I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with it, it's slowly turned into a personal style blog - I guess that's the best way to describe it.
My blog Fash n Chips is about my personal style and taste. On there you can find my outfit photos, things that inspire me, films I love, shopping ideas and little travel reports. It's mostly about images though.
In some ways an art. And also a way to express yourself.
I don't know. Maybe the 70's, because I feel that ever since then anything seemed possible in women's fashion. At the same time I'm not sure that this is a good thing, because nowadays a lot of women look like they could actually use a little more structure.
I'm not sure they actually have a lot of influence, but it's obvious that they're very popular right now. I think it's fun in a way, but it also makes the fashion world seem a bit more shallow.
I can't see them replace the magazines entirely. I for one still love flipping through a good magazine even though I may have seen most of the stuff in there already on internet.
A pair of classic black pumps, a big coat and a black leather bag.
I get inspiration from anything. Films, nature, dreams.. anything.
I don't know. See previous question.
It's not very important to me at all. In fact, I'm a bit of a sweatpants kind of girl. But I can feel quite good about myself with the right amount of makeup, a good hair do and a pair of heels - and I guess that's what it's all about; feeling good about yourself.
Someone with a unique or instantly recognizable style and who doesn't necessarily follow every trend.
They would be wearing something that would reflect, express or enhance their personality and that they'd feel comfortable and confident in.
Right now I'm coveting the Givenchy 'Antigona' bag.
Canon EOS 600D. And sometimes the Canon 5D Mark II.
Live, laugh, love.
