Bye
C: "On est pas bien là?!?".... et mot de la fin, rien de mieux qu'un: FIN

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I started bloggin in 2009  and actually, It was a little bit an accident. I've loved fashion since I can remember, but for long time I was only observer, I was passive in the Fashion World. Once I found in the internet the contest for carnival styling and I won one of the prizes and this situation led that founded the blog.

DW__Who are you? (I saw that you are model, recording your own music and working with your sister Dylana? tell me more about that)
I'm Natalie Suarez, I'm 22 years old, and I live in NYC. I do a bunch of things. Primarily, I'm a model. I've modeled for nearly 8 years now! But growing up, I was constantly surrounded by the arts. My older sister, is also an artist, singer, and photographer. Music and art is just in our DNA. I learned so much from her. So yes, I do record my own music in my free time, and I also work in design. I design a women's shoes collection with my boyfriend, his family, and my sister Dylana, at Modern Vice. I guess I do a bit of everything. Modeling, music, design, and everything in between. My blog, Natalie Off Duty (Natalie Off Duty), is where I've shared my journeys for over 4 years. From a young model in LA, to making it on my own in NYC. I've been through many things at such a young age, and had so many crazy experiences. I'm glad I've had my blog to document it all...along with share what I'm obsessed with, what I'm working on, and what I'm wearing. It was my sister, Dylana, who's had her incredible blog for years, Color Me Nana (colormenana.blogspot.com) for years, who encouraged me to get into this digital world. She's my best friend and she inspires me daily.

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I started my blog back in 2009! I can't believe how fast time flies once you're all grown up. Dylana is who introduced me to fashion blogs, and I instantly become obsessed. I spent a whole day reading blogs once I just discovered them. I found them highly addictive. She would photograph me for her site, Color Me Nana, in our own backyard. She said "you're the model, you pose!" Later on, I realized, I might as well start my own. Now, it's been over 4 years! I love it. I was in my bedroom and came up with the name "Natalie Off Duty" because I was in love with that "model off duty" effortless look that I was constantly surrounded by. I've been modeling since I was 15 and so by the time I started my blog, I already had a good sense of my own individual style, inspired by the brands I've worked with, photography, and just that thrown-together rock n' roll vibe. I'd work with what I had, and constantly scoured vintage. I never went to a casting looking like anyone else. I was all about dressing up and catching people's attention. I feel that's a bit into my success as a model.

DW__Could you introduce your blog?
"Natalie Off Duty" is my baby. I update it almost daily, whether it be behind the scenes of a shoot I'm working on, what I'm wearing, or where I'm traveling to for work...or pure fun. I love photography, taking photos, and sharing a story just through an image. I love taking control of that picture. With "Natalie Off Duty" I get total creative freedom. As a model, I was always told what to do, put into an outfit, and set to be someone else. With my blog, I get to really be me. I love how it's also opened so many doors for me...whether it be designing a collection, or being an ambassador for a brand. I get to work even more behind the scenes now in whatever I do. I love getting deep into my work.

DW__What is fashion for you?
Fashion to me is all about expression. How you're feeling that day. What you're inspired by. What you want to portray. I love playing with different proportions, layers, and colors. I don't have one particular style either. Some days I'm just so classic and simple...and other's I'm super eccentric with my dressing, with colors and textures. Rock n' roll with a touch of bohemian...mostly from my LA background. But I'm still such a city girl. I love to accessorize. For me, it's all in the little details in any item I am wearing.

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for women's fashion?
The 70's. It's when it was ok for a woman to be androgynous and still be considered sexy. When people were the most eclectic with their style. When boys and girls could share an item of clothing. I love that. I'm very much a hippie at heart.

DW__What do you think about the influence of fashion bloggers in the fashion world?
I think fashion bloggers do have such a huge influence in the fashion world. Today, more and more brands want to put an item on a blogger even more than a celebrity...only because they're more relatable and real. Plus, with a blog, you can shop an item instantly. There's honestly a blogger for every single style. They're more powerful now than ever. And it's quick and instant. Daily, bloggers are posting about brands, shows, and everything else in between right away. Quicker than any magazine. So yes, bloggers are so influential. Plus, many become more than a "blogger" with experience...working at large fashion houses and becoming ambassadors to brands. Blogs are kind of like your own little resume and it's your own business for sure.

DW__Do you believe that one day they'll replace the fashion magazine or do you think it's just ephemeral? What's the future of fashion blogs?
Magazines will always live because there really is nothing like touching that paper and feeling immersed in the pages. But yes, so much is online, I can see why many advertisers and sponsors go to websites and blogs. I think that there will always be a form of a blog. Brands have blogs, magazines have blogs.. they will always need that more personal connection to their readers or shoppers. A blog is the perfect way for normal everyday people to connect with the fashion world.

DW__Natalie, it's been a long time I'm following you and I have to say that you have an amazing style with your own personality, Where do you get your ideas from?
Everyday I'm inspired to get dressed. I love to mix the basics with something eccentric and different. Music is my main inspiration. I listen to a lot of classic rock. I can hear a song and suddenly I'm messing up my hair...dressing more like a boy in a band...or I'll be dressed like a total lady with a little edge or toughness to it. There's no style I really stay away from. Or sometimes I'll take inspiration from a character in a movie and make it my own. I like to play characters that always just kind of flow into my own personal way of dressing. As for my personality, I've always been a bit over the top and outspoken, I like to joke and have fun. I've learned that nothing needs to be taken too seriously. I've never followed a traditional path in life.

DW__3 Indispensable items?
-Passport
-Good pair of beat-up black boots
-Tailored Navy Blue Coat

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
I love the crazy vibe of the city..it inspires me to get up everyday...go to work...get dressed...live life fully. And traveling. Anything that keeps me on my toes. I love the energy of NYC. No wonder I ended up staying here for over 2 years now. Oh, and The Rolling Stones. I can listen to them all day long. They keep me going.

DW__Who would qualify to be an icon?
Someone who thinks for themselves, and evokes beauty in the littlest of things. From the way they dress, to how they speak, to their kindness at heart. Someone who can inspire someone else to better themselves. A style icon would be one who could wear just about anything, embrace it, and still look totally rad.

DW__Your ideal female or male would have what style? what would he/she be wearing?
A good pair of vintage blue jeans, a striped tee, and a leather jacket, and sunglasses. Effortless, and requires no thought.

DW__If you had to choose only one pair of shoes what would it be?
A western black buckled boot with a slight heel. Something that immediately adds that super cool factor to any look. The perfect travel boot. Definitely, our "Natalie + Dylana Suarez x Modern Vice" JETT boot. It's my iconic bootie. I love it simple, or studded.

DW__3 words to describe fashion?
Ever-changing, Inspiring, and story-telling.

DW__One last/final word?
I'm sorry it took me over a month to get this interview back to you. You rock.

DW__Who are you?
My name is Charlotte Bridgeman and I am from Melbourne, Australia.
I run the blog Winston & Willow and am also completing my post-graduate in Marketing.

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I began my blog early 2013 but only really started blogging consistently around March this year.
I was living overseas at the time and wanted something that I could show my friends and family what I was up to.

DW__Could you introduce your blog?
My blog Winston & Willow is a personal style, travel and lifestyle blog.
It is run by myself and my boyfriend Nathan Clarke who does all the photography and the web developing.

DW__What is fashion for you?
Fashion to me is a way to express oneself. I believe fashion is a form of art and allows people to show off their individuality through what they wear.

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for women's fashion?
I definitely think it was the 60's. Women began experimenting with fashion more which mirrored the social movements that were happening at the time. The 60's also gave birth to the mini skirt too (where would we be without that!). Women were more daring with what they wore and wanted to be a bit rebellious, which I love.

DW__What do you think about the influence of fashion bloggers in the fashion world?
I think fashion bloggers are growing more and more influential. Blogger/brand collaboration is continuing to grow as brands realise the potential and the influence that bloggers have in the fashion world these days. I think it is an exciting time for fashion as it is adapting to the online world, and bloggers are definitely a huge part of that.

DW__Do you believe that one day they'll replace the fashion magazine or do you think it's just ephemeral ?
Even though I think many people turn to bloggers for fashion advice etc like they do with magazines, I don't think that magazines will ever be eradicated. I still love nothing more than to sit down on a Sunday afternoon with a good fashion magazine and flick through the pages, as I believe a lot of women still do.

DW__3 Indispensable items?
A perfect fitting pair of skinny denim jeans
Heeled leather black boots
A staple tailored blazer.
You can interchange these items with each other and add them to any outfit!

DW__Charlotte, I love your style style, Where do you get your ideas from?
Thank you! I really just always try to wear things that I know suits me well. I think a lot of women try to follow the latest trends even if it is something that doesn't suit them or their body shape. I think it is important to always know what looks good on you but adapt that slightly with new styles.

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
That would definitely be my Grandma. She is going on 83 years old this year and still has more of a social life than I do! She just never stops and is always helping other people, in fact she just won an Order of Australia Medal for her hard work over the years. Our family is very proud.

DW__Who would qualify to be an icon?
There have been so many fashion icons, it's too hard to pick just one! Kate Moss, Jacqui Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Bridgette Bardot.... the list could go on forever!

DW__If you had to choose one bag what would it be?
Givenchy Antigona... a girl can dream!

DW__3 words to describe fashion?
Fun, expressive, influential.

DW__Websites? blogs? other links?

DW__Qui es-tu?

DW__Site(s)? Blog(s)? Autre(s) lien(s)?
Oh oui énormément :) Lovely pepa, Wish Wish, Daaamn, Sincerely Jules, Camille tries to blog ;) de belles
références.

DW__Phrase fétiche? Mot de la fin?*
BE YOURSELF AND STILL BELIEVE IN YOU ♥

This week, this is an interview of a 26 years old blogger I really like, Flávia, gratuated in law, who loves photography and fashion and who currently living in Brazil (Santa Catarina). Here's her interview.

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I have always been interested in photography, I used to do some artistic pics at a site called deviantart.com (miamiam.deviantart.com), after a while I found a site called lookbook.nu and I loved the idea of street style pics, so I decided to create my account there and post my looks as well, but at lookbook.nu site I can only post one pic at time, and I had so many others pics with the same quality, so I decided to create a blog to show the other pics I had.

DW__Could you introduce your blog?
It is a personal style blog that care equally of the beauty of the looks and the photography.

DW__What is fashion for you?
It is a way of expressing my self, and also relaxing, playing, working, living and all the rest.

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for women's fashion?
I believe that the winter is the best period for fashion, cause in the winter you can mach more pieces of cloth.

DW__What do you think about the influence of fashion bloggers in the fashion world?
It is significantly growing the influence of fashion blogger on the fashion world, transforming fashion in a more democratic and dynamic world.

DW__Do you believe that one day they'll replace the fashion magazine or do you think it's just ephemeral ?
I don't believe it will replace the magazines, there is public for both. and I don't think it is gonna go away any time soon, blogs are here to stay, and they will be here for a long time.

DW__Flavia, you have an amazing style, I love the way you mix different clothes,to have an unique style, Where do you get your ideas from?
My inspiration comes from blogs of street style, sites like lookbook.nu, fashion sites all over the world, magazines, from every where.

DW__3 Indispensable items for summer?
For me the 3 items are: Hats, Sunglasses and light dresses.

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
The greatest one comes from street style sites.

DW__Who would qualify to be an icon?
I like a lot Kate Moss and Olivia Palermo.

DW__Your ideal female or male would have what style? what would he/she be wearing?
 I don't know, i haven't thought about it.

DW__If you had to choose one bag what would it be?
That is a really difficult question.

DW__3 words to describe fashion?
Never say never.

DW__Websites? blogs? other links?

DW__One last/final word?
Hope you all like the interview. Thanks.

DW__Who are you?
I am Dominique Nghiem! I'm a 18 years old university student majoring in Psychology and Social Behavior and I blog about my personal style through my blog Style2bones and my various other extension social media sites!

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I started blogging when i was 15 but i did it very rarely, maybe once every month or so! As the years passed by until now, i gained my love (..and addiction) to shooting and editing and styling my outfits on Style2bones to the point that i post everyday! I never really cared about dressing myself when i was younger, i was even teased for my really bad outfits up until i gained an appreciation for fashion and style when i was 12! I was inspired to blog through my favorite fashion bloggers way back then like Fashion Toast and Sea of Shoes! Then i found lookbook and other social media sites to spread my outfits on my main blog!

DW__Could you introduce your blog?
My blog is named Style2bones! Words i'd like to describe me and my style and my readers are: "Sheep in devil's clothing"! I used to have much darker style taking inspiration from nu-goth, punk, and grunge but lately i have adopted a lot of color and patterns into my style! A lot of people think that i am very intimidating because of the way i dress but i'm honestly just very sheeplike -- cute and nice and fluffy inside of my edgy outside!

DW__What is fashion for you?
Fashion to me is something i like to keep up with, following the newest trends and seeing what everyone in the industry is hyped about! I incorporate the newest trends into my style, but i would say that i have a sense of style that adapts to the trends of the time, not one that blindly falls into the hype! I think that style is evolutionary and one eventually needs to adapt to the latest trends without selling out to them, to me that means that i pick and choose what trends i like and can see myself wearing, not wearing everything that is trending!

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for women's fashion?
I would always say now, today, or whatever moment in time that you are reading this! I'm always about the present and future, always evolving and developing oneself but still keeping true to past influences! Just because i think now is the most significant period, that doesn't mean that i ignore the past, because i think the past eras like 70s punk and 80s grunge are the foundation to my personal style!

DW__What do you think about the influence of fashion bloggers in the fashion world?
I think fashion bloggers' influence in the fashion world has definitely increased over the years and continually increasing day by day! I believe so because many clothing companies are relying on bloggers to spread their clothing and show people how to style it! Which is a great thing because this blogging world has definitely become much more friendly and cooperative, everyone helping each other out to spread the love of fashion through a blogger's personal style!

DW__Do you believe that one day they'll replace the fashion magazine or do you think it's just ephemeral ?
Fashion magazines will never be replaced, i can't ever imagine them fading away and completely becoming non existential! I feel that way because i think that the mainstream population are reliant on a type of fast consumerism that feeds them all the latest trends and diets and exercises and dating advice and etc! But once a person wants to go beyond the mainstream, they will look to more niche areas like fashion blogs and online magazines that interest them to a more distinct less commercial style!

DW__3 Indispensable items?
Sky high platforms (6 inches is my standard), your favorite dress, and a leather jacket!

DW__Dominique, you have an incredible style, colorful, sexy and chic at the same time, Where do you get your ideas from?
I get inspiration from everywhere! I think i'm really inspired by my favorite clothing brands and lines like Unif, Jeffrey Campbell, Everland Clothing, O-mighty, Yru..the list goes on and on! I really love looking at lookbooks and seeing how they style their own clothing! I also get inspired from bloggers on Lookbook.nu and instagram! Lately all my color is inspired by my overall happy mood and my new found favorite location ever in California, Salvation Mountain!

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
That would be a hard question for me to directly answer because i am inspired by a little bit of everything: other people, clothing, locations! They are all a big part of my inspiration and i can't just pick one!

DW__Who would qualify to be an icon?
Anyone that is true to themselves and their personal style!

DW__Your ideal female or male would have what style? what would he/she be wearing?
My ideal male actually wouldn't really care about style... i've met and seen enough guys in this industry (fashion, blogging, designing, etc..) to determine that i really don't want someone who is interested in the same things like style and fashion like me! I more so see them as friends to talk about and shoot with and just blog with! But my ideal male would preferably have a really sweet personality and have a lot of passion and love for something-- whether it be art, science, music.. whatever! I think personality is the most important thing above one's style and appearance in choosing a boyfriend or friend!

DW__If you had to choose one bag what would it be?
A see through clutch, because i am a very open person!

DW__3 words to describe fashion?

DW__One last/final word?
Always be true to yourself and love other people like the way you want to be loved! Thank you for interviewing me! It was a lot of fun!

This week, I'm glad to present you a man with an awesome style, his name is Mariano, an italian model and  actor who just turned 24. He is also a part-time student and full time worker.

DW__So Mariano, where do you live?
Wow already with hard questions..well let’s say I travel a lot but I would say Milan.

let's talk about Fashion and MDVstyle...

DW__When did you started blogging and How did you come up with the idea?
I started bloggin something like 1 year and a half ago and I’m glad of the succes it has. To be honest I had the Idea when I was living in New York, (more precisely in Brooklyn ) and I noticed lots of my friends were taking  food and tourists blogs as good information’s sources, and that’s when I said to my self “It would be cool to have a fashion blog” and as soon as I came back to Italy few months later I did one, and here we are!:)

DW__Could you introduce your blog?
Well my blog is basically a street style fashion blog that is inspired to big apple street style and atmosphere but, of course, with a small touch of the Italian Style which is in my blood, and I guess this mix is the key of my success.

DW__What is fashion for you?
It’s a way to be, and it’s most of all the way YOU FEEL  when you wear something.

DW__According to you, what is the most significant period for men's fashion?
Well I guess is this one, beginning of summer, because that’s when a man really needs the “help” of fashion, becasue you start showing off your body, so legs arms feet, and you gotta choose the right clothes to match with your “particularities” or lets say to hide some of them.

DW__You have a great sense of style, probably one of the best men blogger, Where do you get your ideas from?
Well it’s not really about where, because I don’t really have any icon, but it’s more about when, because it appens during weird moments of the day, maybe I’m in the metro wolking or at the phone with someone and few ideas jsut pop up into my mind, and that’s when I start thinking and I figure out (in my mind) the next outfit.

DW__What is your greatest inspiration?
My dream and my biggest passion is acting, which is the reason why I was in NY, to study at the NYFA for an acting course, so definitely is to act in some great movie possibily about mafia and this kind of stuff.

DW__What do you like the most about blogging?
I love the connection you get with people from such a different coltures and from different sides of the world, and i love to go in sweeden maybe and meeting people that recognise you at the airport and wants to take pictures with you and ask you suggestions about theyre hair or about theyre look, I’ve always loved to meet new people and to travel, and this is giving me tha chance to do both in a great way!

let's talk about modeling...

DW__How did you get this passion for modeling? What/who encouraged you to start?
It just append, it wasn’t in my plans.

DW__What is your favorite fashion shoot?
Probably the one i just did last week! (hahah I always say like this don’t ask me why).

DW__What do you like the most about being a model?
Mhh.. I don’t know maybe that helps me a lot with my blog, because I get the chance to see lot of clothes before the other people and show backstages trough my blog, that’s something people love.

DW__Who are your favorite designers?
Most of them are young designers.

DW__3 words to describe fashion?
Fun-healthy-nostalgic.

Final interview questions.

DW__What are your plans for the future?
I can’t tell you! haha :D

DW__Websites? blogs? other links?
