I am Irina a 24 year old dentist gone blogger and live in Bergen, Norway.
About a year or so ago.
I always wanted a career in fashion and blogging just made sence. I discovered my love for photography and just kept going.
My blog is very much about how high end clothes work in my non-fashion everyday, about the pieces I covet and the trends I predict will keep it big for upcoming season. It's also about uniqness and doing something in a way that differs from others.
For me the fashion is just a visible extension of designers imagination and creativity. However, although the garments and fashion can come and go, at the end the way we put those together is what is improtant, or at least for me.I think that either person is conscious or unconscious of the importance of fashion,I consider it as a way to communicate and express youself.
I find that entertaining and ultimately amusing.
Right here and now, or rather last 5ish years. The fashion has evolved at such high rate and so fast, that the possibilites seem endless in count. However I regard Mcqueen PLato Atlantis collection to hav started the reign of prints era.
I think that the bloggers make high end garments and ideas more down-to-earth, as thet interprate trends in a more approachable way- for the world wide, non-fashion jinkie audience. The influence and reach is beyonde what anyone could have estimated.
No, even bloggers need insirationa and direction points from somewhere. There is a big difference between editors and bloggers and I don not consider these as mutualy exclusve. The first have tremendous knwledge about everything happening on the fashion scene, the second are more specialized on certain styles, designers etc..
Point pumps from Louboutin.
More or less everywhere, but when it comes to fashion inspo I go directly to the designers and their vision and styling.I find that to be the purest source of inspiration as it is always fresh and new. On the other side cool people especially women can be a tremendous inspiration and ideas.
People, they intrigue me.
Well, for the first it is kind of my job as a blogger, however my style is comfortable ad simple so I am often statisfied with just looking good- Looking my best all the time would be too exausting, job or not.
Someone who has set the borders of style in one direction for the first time- a person who does somthing that nobody before her has done it.
Like Carine Roitfeld and Taylor Tomasi Hill
Not sure how to answer, I consider the way I dress to be guided by my thoughts on ideal women, so. When it comes to men, well, simple yet with a few polished pieces as a good way to go. I love the way my finace dresses.
Easy-Givenchy Obsedia
Everlasting, everchanging and expensive
I stick to magazines and a handful of bloggers. Hanneli, Elink Kling, all Vogue sites (thank God for the 'translate' button), Style.com
Take care!
